This tutorial explains how to log into Checkpoint Live. To do this you do not need to sign up unless you are creating an event. To create an event follow the Event Organiser Tutorial.
To log into Checkpoint Live you need a username and password provided to you by the event organisers. This might come in the form of an email that looks a little bit like this:

Step 1: Find the website
|
Click the link below to take you to the website. We recommend you try this before the event starts to familiarise yourself with the site. This also caches the website to aid it in loading faster in low bandwidth environments.

Step 2: Sign into the event
|
On the homepage you will find a sign in form. Use the username and password below and select the black 'sign in' button to enter the event. Everyone uses the same sign in details to enter the event.

Step 3: Select your
checkpoint/base

Your
checkpoint/base for Example Event is

Once signed in you will see details about the event and name and pass-code inputs. Enter your name, and the pass-code found below. Now click on the 'Go to checkpoint' button. From here you can record team sightings.

Multiple users can be inputting Patrol logs into website using their mobile device and
checkpoint
Live will keep them all in sync as well as informing those organising the event that a Patrol has
been seen.

Everyone staffing the event uses the same login details to access Checkpoint Live. For example the email above states that the username is: exampleUser and the password is: 0A0T9g
You enter this information into the Checkpoint Live homepage.
